PCBC Homebuilding Industry Tradeshow – HomeTeam Pest Defense Showcases Taexx

HomeTeam Pest Defense is celebrating our 8^th year as a Pacific Coast Builder Conference tradeshow exhibitor.  This annual event is the largest light homebuilding industry construction show on the west coast.  It is held at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California.  This year the conference and exhibit dates are June 22-24, 2011.

An extensive range of products and businesses will be present at the event this year, and HomeTeam Pest Defense, the third largest residential pest control company in the U.S. expects to shine!  HomeTeam will exhibit in booth #5416 in the North Hall.

We will showcase Taexx^®, our built-in pest control system, and termite products including borate wood pretreatments and Sentricon^®. The Taexx system has a low install cost, no impact on a building cycle time and a high perceived value among homebuyers.

According to the Sentricon website, it is the “only termite control product ever to earn the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award, one of the federal government’s top environmental honors. The award recognizes technical innovation incorporating environmentally responsible chemistry into its design, manufacture and use.”

Our wood pretreatments include Bora-Care^®, a borate-based termiticide, applied directly onto raw wood, concrete and foundation penetrations. Its patented formula penetrates into the wood, providing residual protection against subterranean termites.

The termite applications provided by HomeTeam satisfy all state and local municipality requirements, and most importantly, satisfy all HUD lending requirements for termite pretreatments on FHA and VA loans.
